A Program for All Ages: As
the Unitarian Universalist Association says, "the search for truth and meaning
is a lifelong search. We are never too young or too old to be learning." The
Religious Education (RE) Program of the Universalist Unitarian Church of East
Liberty nurtures the spiritual growth and religious life of church members, their families, and the
community. Religious education for the heart and the mind is part of all we do
at this church. We hunger for religious community as a common ground
for children, youth and adults. The RE program helps to "reconnect the generations"
in this religious body.
Current Programs: Join us on the first and
third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 for this educational opportunity
focusing on anti-racism, anti-oppression, and multiculturalism in our
churches. This 12-month program is a draft of a new curriculum we
are field-testing for the Unitarian Universalist Association. Newcomers
are always welcome. Co-facilitators: Rev. Cynthia Landrum, Minister &
Sharon Pedersen, Religious Education Coordinator
