Inclement Weather/Church Closings Policy
 

In case of Inclement Weather on a date of a regularly scheduled church service, the Board President and Building Committee Chair will consult and make a decision about cancelling the service.  Church will always be cancelled if the Michigan State government has issued an alert asking drivers to stay off the road.   In case of cancellation, the information will be added to the church voicemail message at 517-529-4221 and on the church Facebook page, if possible.  We will attempt to contact members by use of the phone tree, but please be advised that the phone tree is always an imperfect system.  We urge everyone to exercise caution in cases of bad weather, and not attempt to come to church if the roads are treacherous or the weather is severe.     In case of other church emergency closings, the same policy will be followed.
